unity and community!
This is Martha’s Vineyard!
“Martha's Vineyard boasts a rich and vibrant heritage, a constantly evolving tapestry of cultures, flavors, and traditions. Martha's Vineyard Vibe Fest draws its inspiration from this dynamic heritage. The festival aims to bring people together and showcase local artisans alongside a
curated selection of regional artisans and artists.” - Yvonne Mendez & Edgard Arty (the producers)
Much like the iconic New Orleans Heritage Festival and the Hampton Jazz & Music Festival, Vibe Fest will showcase and honor the spirit, artistry, and entrepreneurship of local artisans, chefs, DJs, local musicians, poets and cultural tastemakers, as well as varied regional voices, all blended together in an unforgettable, soulful Vineyard experience that celebrates tradition while inspiring future generations.
The festival is deliberately set in Alley Waban Park, against the breathtaking coastal backdrop, and within view of the iconic Inkwell Beach, where the Polar Bears take their early morning swim every summer morning. Vibe Fest is rooted in the rich tradition of Martha’s Vineyard as a diverse vacation haven and will bring together an eclectic mix of vintage markets, curated food experiences, and live entertainment.
The Martha’s Vineyard Vibe Fest, aspires to not only preserve the island’s profound cultural history but also to create a refined experience that resonates with Island residents and visitors from around the globe. We extend a warm invitation to HBCU alumni, members of esteemed fraternities and sororities, cultural icons, and celebrity islanders who have long called the
Vineyard home and share a love for the island's storied legacy.
We are curating a blend of local culinary and beverage vendors including Chef Ting (Black Joy House) Chef Deon, local beer and wine vendor Social Coast Beverage Service (Island Operated), Host Events (Middletown, MA) and more. Reduced vendor rates are available for Island artisans. We are working with local Islanders to identify available local musicians, poets and performers for our limited stage presentations, with special outreach to artisans and friends who are members of the Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe.
